Munchner Tafel e.V.

Since its founding in 1994, the motto of the Münchner Tafel e.V. has been "distribute food, instead of destroying it". Approximately 700 volunteers supply over 22,000 impoverished citizens with fruit, vegetables, bread and other grotheries.

Muenchner Tafel provides every week 125.000 kg of food to needy people in Munich. We collect food from supermarkets, bakeries or butcheries, which is impeccable. However, too much has been produced or, for example, has a faulty label. Every week we supply 22.000 people with food and help those people to have a better life. The largest group of supplied people are old people. Followed by people suffering by sicknesses and single parents and their children.
